Der Glücksfund! Private, unbekannte Fotos von Romy und Magda Schneider aus den 40er Jahren entdeckt. Angefangen hatte alles mit intensiven Nachforschungen im Internet. Ein bekanntes Auktionshaus hatte zwei gut gefüllte Fotoalben aus den Jahren 1942-1944 mit über 300 Fotos im Angebot. Das Höchstgebot bei der Auktion sicherte im Jahre 2011 den Fund. Beim Sichten stellte sich heraus, daß es sich dabei um zwei private Fotoalben einer Familie aus der Schönau bei Berchtesgaden handelt. Umfangreiche Nachforschungen ermöglichten es, die beiden Alben den Eigentümern zurückzugeben, denen sie vor einigen Jahren gestohlen worden waren. Als Dankeschön erlaubte die Familie die Digitalsierung und erstmalige Veröffentlichung der Fotos. Die privaten Fotos zeigen den UFA-Star Magda Schneider zusammen mit ihrer Tochter Romy, die seinerzeit zum Freundeskreis der Familie gehörten. Wanderungen im Berchtesgadener Land und eine Urlaubsreise vom 17. bis 28. August 1944 nach Velden am Wörthersee dürfen als kleine Sensation gewertet werden.
